Critiques
I adore this humourous, metaphorical piece. "Yea, though ye cometh in many colours, thou dost taste the same. Thus spake the Lord thy Candyman." There's a marvellous moral lesson in there somewhere!
DISCLAIMER: Alright, maybe I got my ye's and thou's mixed up, but the sentiment still holds!
Originality: 4 stars
Based on one of our more palatable favourite Bible stories of the Sermon on the Mount, Candyman Jesus is shown here heartwarmingly instructing and reassuring his gummy bears.
Technique: 4.5 stars
I like the soft colours of this high-resolution piece, as well as the well-arranged positions of the gummy bears around their Candyman.
Impact: 5 stars
This humerous and charming piece isn't something the viewer will be likely to forget in a hurry - nor want to forget.
